Beauty shoot.

Hello everyone, it’s great to still be in beautiful sunny Southern California as pretty much everyone knew that I once almost relocated to Miami. Things didn’t quite work out on that but I’m here and ready to rock and roll.

Now that I’m officially back, I’m going to focus on showcasing more of my beauty, fashion and art work. Beauty is my forte and I love it. It’s so beautiful that at the end of the day, the beauty of a face has been captured and at the same time get that WOW from others that see my work. Below you’ll see several shots that I’ve done that have had awesome reviews about them. Medium soft box lighting was used here on camera left at about 6 feet away.

ISO: 100

Extreme closeness (done in post production) as I knew ahead of time this is how I wanted to capture the beauty. Also a few dodge and burn were used in Photoshop.

In this one, I used one light in the background to blow it out and one large softbox in front of her about 3 feet away with a diffuser and a baffle. Model: Kimberlie Bishop Makeup artist/hair: Krista Ehret Camera: Canon 1DsMII Lens: Canon 100mm macro f/2.8 Shutter: 1/125th ISO: 100

In this one, I used one light in the background to blow it out and one large softbox in front of her about 3 feet away with a diffuser and a baffle. A silver reflector below chin was also utlized.

Extreme creative makeup is what the project called for. Wanted to have something different and have fun with makeup at the same time. Also “tri-color” in Photoshop with a filter from Nik Software was used.. Light source was one light above Jackie at about 3 feet with a softbox and a diffuser with a baffle inside.

OPEN DISCUSSION MEETUP

Hello everyone!!! I am BACK!!!

Picking up from where we left off. Those of you who came to my meet up in Orange over the last two (2) years at my studio, which I have now sold to Jim Ewing and I was planning to move to Miami. Personal reasons have made me stay here in beautiful Southern California. Therefore, I’m reestablishing my forum meet up at Chanel Rene’s studio (Studio OC) located in Fountain Valley. Chanel graciously accommodated me to use her studio to hold my open discussion forum meet ups. I would like to personally thank Chanel for allowing me to do this, I would also like to invite you to come on down to my open discussion forum. Open discussion forum will be about the industry, which includes models, makeup artist, stylists, hairstylists and photographers. If you have questions regarding the industry, this is the perfect spot to go to for answers.

Excited for another tearsheet for FaceON Magazine – September 2011

FaceON is a print magazine that is located in London. I’m uberly excited as they showcased my work on their magazine recently. When I receive the magazine in the mail I will scan some pages and show you what they’ve used. It’s fun when one finds out that their work has been added to a high quality magazine. FaceON focuses on professional makeup. The pages from their Issue 6 (which I do currently have) are pages to pages high end makeup with so many quality models and photographers work. Even now I still I pick up the magazine and browse through their pages as it’s so beautifully done. Checkout the latest tearsheet that the editors were nice enough to send me my page until I receive the actual magazine in the mail.

Playboy’s Miss September 2011 Playboy of the Month – Tiffany Toth

I also had the pleasure of shooting another beautiful Playboy model; Tiffany Toth. She got the Miss September 2011 Playboy of the Month. For some odd reasons I knew she was going to make it in the magazine. Mostly due to her friendliness along with her beautiful face and wonderful physique. I’m going to share an image that I shot of her. This photo of her is currently in my gallery wall at the studio’s office. Looks fantabulously beautiful I must say.

Miss Playboy Playmate of the Month February 2009 – Jessica Burciaga.

Hello again everyone. I wanted to share with you in reference as to you never know who you’re going to meet up with, let alone shoot with. I had the pleasure a while back to shoot with the beautiful Jessica Burciaga. I’ll share an image that to me is not only beautiful but sexy as hell.

Jessica has appeared on The Girls Next Door and Go West Young Girl (Both a Playboy cable TV show)

When I shot Jessica, I noticed her stunning personality as well as how friendly she was with the crew. She was very easy to work with and even easier to photograph as well. Check her out below.

In 2010, I had the pleasure of not only meeting such a talented beautiful person, had a pleasure of shooting Kimmy TWICE (or was it three times?) Model Erika Jordan

Recently I had the pleasure of shooting with a hot and sexy model named Erika Jordan. She was just an amazing model to shoot with, we had a lot of fun and did some very nice creative images. I had a fantabulous makeup artist/hairstylist (although she’s more of a makeup artist) named Heather Ivy. Heather’s personality is just amazing and beautiful. I’ve worked with Heather numerous of times and she never seems to fail me.

Here is a beautiful image that I created and will be used. It’s such an amazing beautiful image that I’m going to showcase it in the gallery at my studio.
